BUSHLANDS TOURIST PARK – PET POLICY

Here at Bushlands, we love dogs & other pets, and welcome yours to our beautiful bush retreat. Pets are welcome on sites and select cabins.

Please advise us upon booking that wish to bring your dog’s/pet, and all animals must be declared to reception upon arrival.

You are responsible for your animal’s welfare and behaviour whilst staying in our park, and ask you to abide by the following rules:

• All dogs must be under effective control by means of a leash or confined to the site by other means.
• All waste from dogs must be adequately removed and disposed of in the approved manner (e.g. bagged and binned) at least daily.
• Dogs are not to cause nuisance to other patrons, including excessive barking and roaming.
• Dogs are to be always provided with an adequate supply of water.
• Excessive barking is disruptive to others and must be managed effectively.
• Animals are not permitted in the bathroom/amenities block.
• Animals are permitted to cool down in our creek (when it has water) providing they remain on a leash and under your control.
• NO bathing of dogs in the amenities block
• NO washing of dog towels and bedding in the washing machines and dryers provided in the park laundry.
• PETS are not to be left at park unattended – please take them with you when you go out.

Even if your dog is amazing, and we are sure you are right, we never know how they will react to other dogs or people.

We may ask you to leave (or remove your dog from site) if your dog is observed to be off leash or being aggressive or disturbing others.

Safety and courtesy to our other guests is our key priority and we believe our guests should not be negatively impacted by irresponsible owners.

Well behaved doggies are welcome in select cabins – however where necessary we may charge an excess cleaning fee should we find any damage, doggy poo/urination etc in our cabins upon your departure.

WATCH THIS SPACE – we are planning to include some fenced dog sites in the future!
